Ali Saif

Ali Saif Hassan 

President

Mr. Ali Saif Hassan is the founder and executive director of the Political Development Forum (PDF).

Since 2012, Ali Saif Hassan is the Co-Director of the National Dialogue Support Program in Yemen, which is a partnership initiative of the Political Development Forum Yemen and Berghof Foundation. He has a long history of political dialogue and informal negotiations in Yemen. He hosted several informal consultation meetings between Yemeni Political Parties.

He has his MBA from Eastern Michigan University – USA, 1982.

Dr. Nadia Yahya Al-Kwkabani 

Vice President

An Academic, writer, human rights, and political activist:

  • Professor associate in Architecture at Sanaa University.
  • Deputy Director and Program Manager 2018-2023 at the Forum for Political Development.
  • A national consultant 2016-2018 in (Peacebuilding and National Security) at the United Nations Office for Women.
  • Member of Comprehensive National Dialogue Conference “NDC Yemen 2013-2014”.
  • Novelist and short story writer, has five collection of short stories and five novels.
  • Winner of literary awards.

Lawyer Gamal Mohammed Al-jabi

Member

Mr. Gamal AL-jabi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia and Law, Sana’a University, 1997, and an Executive Master’s in Administration, Sana’a University, Management Development Center, 2016.

He has many works in the field of rights, civil society organizations, and training, with 15 years of experience working for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR.

Mr. Jamal is a member of many unions and advisory bodies in Yemen and the Arab world. He is also a journalist and a member of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate.

Ala Fadhl

Member

Ala Holds a bachelor degree in Banking and financial sciences from The Arab Academy for banking and financial Sciences Amman, Jordan 2010. Ala joined the PDF’s board of trustees in April 2020 after holding several positions at PDF since 2014. He Started as an Administrative Assistant and then Office Manager for National Dialogue Support Program and as Finance and HR Manager since 2018 till today.

Eyad Saif 

Member

Eyad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Pune University, India.

Seventeen years of experience in the field of accounting and developing financial solutions programs.

He worked as the chief accountant at Occidental Oil Company from 2007 until 2019

Eyad worked at the Forum as Director of Internal Audit since 2020.
