May 2021: PDSP organized the monthly meeting for Aden Youth Consultations group AYC on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 26-27 May, 2021. The meeting was held via the official WhatsApp platform of AYC to ensure the safety of the AYC members due to the continuing outbreak of the new variant of coronavirus pandemic. The meeting aimed to discuss the health situations in the city of Aden in light of the second variant of the Coronavirus pandemic, and to know the challenges facing young people regarding this health risk and how to overcome it. The meeting was also allocated for discussing the role that young people can play in health awareness of society through the proposed plans and programs, as well as to stand before the briefing of the UN envoy to Yemen to the Security Council in May in order to exchange views about it and to discuss what the youth’s expectations from a new envoy and the role he will play regarding the crisis in Yemen. Last but not least, the meeting aimed at evaluating the session carried out last month by AYC via Zoom application on the Corona virus in Aden and the outcomes resulting from it
