October, 2022: The PDSP organized the Aden Consultations Group AC monthly meeting on 25 October, 2022 at the meeting hall of PDF in Aden. The meeting was held under the title: “How does AC Group Read… the Rapid Developments in Aden City in light of Political Developments”. The main aims of the meeting were to stand before a report on the outcomes of the consultative meeting held in Montreux under the title; “From Armistice to the Peace Process”, and to present the report of the “AC relations with local authority team regarding their meeting with the director of Al-Tawahi district. The main objective of the meeting was to conduct a workshop on how AC members perceive the impact of the accelerated political events taking place in Yemen on the city of Aden. Informing the rest of the members of the technical report on the dialogue meeting of the “Relationships with the Local Community” with the Director General of the Tawahi District. With regards to how the AC reads the impact of the accelerating political developments on the city of Aden?” For the teams to compile and organize the outputs of the three AC teams, which emerged from the workshop into one integrated report under the same title. The AC “Foreign Relations and Peace” team to continue contact with the Office of the UN Envoy to Yemen in Aden to have a meeting with the Director of the Office of the UN Envoy for Yemen, Mr. Peter Rice, to understand the facts on ground and the rapid political developments at the country level in general and specifically the city of Aden, especially with regard to international, regional and local efforts, endeavors, and positions regarding the extension renewal of the UN military humanitarian armistice, and its negative and positive impacts and the repercussions on the city of Aden.
