January 9, 2018: The Strategic Support Group SSG met today with the United Nations delegation led by UN Deputy Special Envoy to Yemen Mr. Mueen Shareem to discuss how to resume the political process. During this open discussion meeting, Mr. Shareem briefed the SSG members on the results of his meetings with Yemen officials and with the Chairperson of the High Political Council.
