February 26 – March 1, 2018: A high-level informal consultative meeting was held in Berlin, bringing together 16 political, social, civil society, women and independent youth from the Republic of Yemen. The meeting focused on discussing the basic elements and options for a new peace process in Yemen. The meeting was organized by the Berghof Foundation in coordination with the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen. This consultative meeting comes as part of a series of meetings aimed at enhancing the chances of reaching a comprehensive solution in Yemen that takes into account the needs and concerns of all parties
