September 2016; The SSG held its first meeting during August 31- 1 September to stand before the recent political developments headed by the formation of the High Political Council and their impacts on the peace building process in Yemen. The members stood before the proposal on the national authority NB, prepared a small team of the SSG. On the second day, the SSG began discussion of the means to reactive the role of the local authority in the provision of services to citizens at the local community level. Dr Ahmed Al-Mawari provided a presentation on how to activate the role of local authority and how to create a partnership between civil society and the local authority in the provision of basic services to local community
