October 27-28, 2019: The Political Dialogue Support Programme organized the Aden Consultations Group meeting during this period 27-28 October 2019. The main objectives of the meeting were to discuss and review the situations and developments emerging in Aden city in general; and to resume discussion of the issue of civil servants who were forced to retire prematurely from civilian, security and military institutions on the basis of recent reports issued by the relevant committee and in light of developments and follow-up by the contact group of the Aden Consultations Group, and the progress made on the reports of the four working groups communications, information, matrix, and relief in order to finalize them on the security issue to be issued in one booklet / guide that reflects the group’s efforts to restore the image of Aden to its rightful place at various levels, especially with regard to the security problem and its economic, political and social ramifications
