March 26-29, 2017: A Finance Meeting took place in Beirut and brought together some of the main actors in the Yemeni business community. In addition, the meeting brought together high-level bankers from different Yemeni banks. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss what could be done to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen given the absence of a functioning central bank and other major economic challenges.
